MAPLE arrived in pretty rough shape. She was found trying to stay warm under a vent during an extreme cold snap. Not only was MAPLE frozen and scared, but she was also quite emaciated (starved). We knew MAPLE would be a longer term quarantine resident but we were prepared. MAPLE lost part of one year and about 1/3 of her tail due to frostbite. Her beautiful soft coat is starting to come back as she lost chunks of it due to severe matting and poor nutrition. MAPLE is now spayed, vaccinated, dewormed and tattooed. She has the cutest little ‘twitter’ and LOVES LOVES LOVES getting brushed and loved up (very affectionate). This smaller girl needs an indoor ONLY home.
