LUCY is finally ready! This unbelievably sweet girl arrived in pretty rough shape but her foster mom was ready to do everything it took to help Lucy heal and grow. Lucy was born in APRIL of 2024 (approx) and is about 40-45lbs. She is spayed and up-to-date on vaccines. Please read on to find out the type of home Lucy will need! Words from her foster mom:
Lucy is a sweet, loveable girl. She has had so many firsts. First warm bed, first day with meals, first time to play with toys and first time with unconditional love. Lucy is very gentle but does get excited when being petted, but a simple reminder helps her calm down. Lucy has realized how much she loves sleeping in a human bed and wants to cuddle close. She gets along with her foster friends but doesn’t seem to like cats in the neighbourhood. She has done really well with crate training and sits nice for treats. Although Lucy loves being inside, she also loves being outside now that the weather is warmer. Fenced in yard would be recommended.
Lucy is very loyal to her person. She likes to be where you are and a simple “where’s Lucy” she does come running. She likes to chase birds and squirrels. Also great with kids. Does get excited but she does listen when you call.
